Event FAQ

HOW TO REGISTER

To register for an event, click the “Register Now” button on the Event Information page.  This takes you to an Event Registration page where you can register just yourself or multiple people. Select the appropriate registration fee and complete the remainder of the registration form. You have the choice of paying with a credit card via PayPal or by check.  If you opt to send a check:

  1. Please make your check payable to Integrated Care Leadership Network (ICLN). 
  2. Mail payment to ICLN at 13100 Skyline Boulevard, Oakland, CA 94619.

Note that you are not charged a fee for using your credit card to pay via PayPal and do not need a PayPal account. Your sensitive financial information is stored securely by PayPal and is not made available to ICLN.

After completing your registration, you should receive an email confirmation from workshops@myicln.org for your registration. If you do not receive this confirmation, please email Jackie@myicln.org.

To prevent communications from automatically going to your spam filter, please add workshops@myicln.org to your Contacts, Whitelist or Accepted list (depending on your email service).

REFUND, CANCELLATIONS, AND SUBSTITUTIONS

If you register and are unable to attend, ICLN will issue a refund up until one week prior to the event.  Less than one week prior to the event, ICLN will issue only a credit for cancellations.  If you do not notify ICLN prior to the workshop that you are unable to attend, ICLN will not issue a credit.  To cancel your registration, email Jackie@myicln.org or call 800.947.9311.

If the workshop is cancelled by ICLN for any reason, you will be notified immediately via email and will be refunded in full no later than seven business days after cancellation. ICLN reserves the right to substitute workshop presenters at any time. ICLN also reserves the right to cancel any workshop. 

REGISTERING TEAMS

When an organization sends a group or team to an event, it can either be as a one-off experience where the team attends at a discounted group rate and receives the same instruction as other participants, or the organization can contact ICLN beforehand to arrange for add-on services such as: 

  • A pre-workshop assessment
  • A post-workshop team debrief
  • Post-workshop coaching to address specific team needs
  • Post-workshop, customized training that builds on the workshop content addressing specific needs of the team

CEU CREDITS

ICLN is approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 15505 through the UCSF Center for the Health Professions.

Sign-in is required at the event to receive credit, in addition to a valid RN license number, and completion of a post workshop evaluation survey.  Participants can expect to receive their CE certificate via email approximately one week post event. If you have not received your certificate for any reason, email Laura@myicln.org.

COST OF WORKSHOP

ICLN is often asked about why workshops are no longer free.  ICLN was able to offer free workshops to the SF Bay Area nursing community temporarily due to a generous grant from the Gordon & Betty Moore Foundation to support the professional development of nurses.  When this grant expired, ICLN had to transition to market-based pricing for all events.

ICLN hopes that our attendees see the value in investing in one’s ongoing professional development and sees value in the programming offered.
